All of us at Eastern Sierra Land Trust are excited to welcome local Eastern Sierra resident and photographer William (Bill) Dunlap to our Board of Directors!
Bill has been a volunteer and member with Eastern Sierra Land Trustfor several years, anda frequent attendee at ESLT events most often with camera in hand, ready to capture the action.
As a member of our Board, he’ll have an even greater influence on conservation efforts in the Eastern Sierra, and we are all thrilled to now officially have him on our team.
Bill has always had a strong interest in conservation. He has loved the Eastern Sierra since he began camping and climbing here in the late 1960s. He climbed with the Sierra Peaks Section of the LA Sierra Club Chapter, and later went on to exploreother mountain ranges around the world. But the Eastern Sierra kept a special place in his heart, and he continued toreturn to the areayear after year. In 1988, he built a home and movedtoMammoth Lakes; todayhelives in a log home in Swall Meadows.
Bill has a talentfor capturing the magnificence of our region in his timeless works of art.He regularly donates his beautiful photographs to us for use in newsletters, on postcards, and more.
