Project Description

Please note: the Lowery conservation easement is private property.

The Lowery conservation easement protects important habitat along the winter range and migration corridor for the Round Valley mule deer herd. As this property contains wetland areas, other wildlife such as mountain lion, grey fox, yellow-bellied marmot, and golden eagle are frequently seen here as well. Because this property is bordered on two sides by the Inyo National Forest and shares a boundary corner with two other ESLT easement properties, it provides excellent connectivity for wildlife traveling through the area.
