With summer in full swing, our garden at the ESLT office is almost like a jungle. Every morning the sunflowers greet me with their flowers just peaking over the top of our wooden fence. The tomatoes went crazy, growing larger than I could have imagined, and are just now starting to produce bright juicy red tomatoes. Hummingbirds visit our hummingbird feeder, birds and other insects stop in for a drink at our bird bath, and bees by the dozen have a sweet snack among the sunflowers. The staff garden is already producing cucumber and tomato with corn and melons on the way. Karen’s salsa garden is nearly ready to make a zesty treat! Unfortunately, the squash bugs have also found our pumpkin patch. Various ESLT staff can be found hunting for unwanted bugs, propping up absurdly large tomato plants, or just enjoying the shade of our new arbor. Take a peek over the fence next time you are in the area. We invite you to stop by, to take a taste or just a look. Our garden is flourishing.
