Dear ESLT Friends,

I’m writing to let you know that I’m planning to step down from my position as Executive Director ofEastern Sierra Land Trust.

After almost 12 exciting and gratifying years of helping get this nonprofit up and running, I’m ready for some new challenges and opportunities. I’ll be staying on until my successor is in place and will serve on the search committee. In the future, I’m planning to serve on the Lands Committee and to help with conservation projects as needed. I’ll always be committed to the mission of ESLT.

ESLT is in great shape, with an active and engaged board of directors and a talented staff. It is due to the hard work of our leadership, including Board President Tony Taylor, and our amazing current and past staff that ESLT is thriving.

Our partnerships with private landowners are strong – I’m very grateful and honored to have had the opportunity to work with so many wonderful landowners.

Please check out the announcement of our job opening and let us know if you know of the perfect person for this great job! Thank you for your support of ESLT and its mission of preserving the wild and working lands of the Eastern Sierra!

Sincerely,

Karen Ferrell-Ingram
