Did you know? In your very own Bishop-area neighborhoods and streets, some beautiful pollinator gardens are buzzing and thriving. And on the morning of May 16th they’ll be opening their gates for visitors of all ages.

If you like gardening or native plants, you won’t want to miss this inspiring self-guided tour. Locals across the Eastern Sierra will host you in their gardens, so you can explore how they’ve created wonderful havens for pollinators like butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds.

You’re sure to gain buckets of inspiration for your own space!

The tour will kick off from the ESLT office at 250 N Fowler Street In Bishop. For more information and for a map of the featured gardens, you can contact ESLT Education Coordinator and AmeriCorps Member Marie at or (760) 873-4554.
