We are kicking off our 21st Anniversary Paddle Raise with some extra fun! To start the evening, ESLT is co-hosting a virtual wine tasting, sponsored by Purple Brands and Raeburn Winery. The tasting starts at 5 pm and will be led by a Raeburn winemaker.  We will explore three of their delicious flagship wines and hear from Raeburn’s founder, Derek Benham, regarding his family’s conservation work and connections to Eastern Sierra Land Trust.

Space is limited for the wine tasting – register today! Three bottles of Raeburn wine (Chardonnay, Rosé, Pinot Noir) will be shipped to your California address as well as a set of four custom ESLT wine glasses prior to the event.

Registration for the wine tasting and virtual chat with the winemaker is $750 per package. Make it a party, and invite people to join you at your home! Registration is now open for people who will pick up their wine and glasses from the Eastern Sierra Land Trust office before the event. Please make a note in the registration form if you would like to do a local pick-up. You can also email if you would like ESLT to do a local delivery of your wine package.

Whether you decide to host a tasting party or keep your group small, we can not wait to raise a glass to Eastern Sierra conservation with you!

For those who do not participate in the wine tasting, our annual paddle raise starts after the tasting at 6 pm on the 25th. Head here for the wine tasting and the paddle raise registration. Click here for a full list of 2022 Lands & Legacy Celebration events.

About Raeburn Winery

Nestled into California’s Russian River Valley, the award-winning Raeburn Winery sustainably produces incredible wine. The vineyard was founded in 2012 by accomplished winemaker Derek Benham to honor his mother, Phyllis Benham, who instilled a lifelong appreciation and respect for nature in him. Raeburn’s mission is to protect the thriving and diverse watersheds of the Russian River Valley that Phyllis loves and provide a safe habitat for grapes and creatures alike.

Phyllis, who moved with her late husband and ESLT Board Member, Herb, to Mammoth in the 1980s, has been a tremendous supporter and partner of Eastern Sierra Land Trust since the early years.

To honor Phyllis’s longtime support of ESLT, Derek has generously offered to sponsor and facilitate the virtual wine tasting.
