Finding Strength in Nature

Maria Montessori stated in her book Discovery of the Child, “When children come into contact with nature, they reveal their strength.” As a requirement of my Montessori-based education, I went away to a nature camp for one to four weeks per year from Kindergarten through eighth grade. Monitoring season is here!

As stewardship coordinator at the ESLT, one of my responsibilities is to conduct yearly monitoring on all our conservation easements. This is to maintain relationships with landowners and ensure future compliance with conservation easement requirements in order to ensure the preservation of the lands in perpetuity.
